Dipterocarpus \Dip`te*ro*car"pus\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? with two
   wings + ? fruit.] (Bot.)
   A genus of trees found in the East Indies, some species of
   which produce a fragrant resin, other species wood oil. The
   fruit has two long wings.
