   pl. [NL., fr. Gr. ? + ?, ?, outh.] (Zool.)
   An extensive suborder of marine Bryozoa, mostly with
   calcareous shells. They have a movable lip and a lid to close
   the aperture of the cells. [Also written {Chillostomata}.]
