Burrel \Bur"rel\, n. [Cf. OF. burel reddish (cf. {Borel}, n.),
   or F. beurr['e] butter pear, fr. beurre butter. Cf.
   {Butter}.]
   A sort of pear, called also the {red butter pear}, from its
   smooth, delicious, soft pulp.
