Bandore \Ban"dore\, n. [Sp. bandurria, fr. L. pandura,
   pandurium, a musical instrument of three strings, fr. Gr.
   pandoy^ra a three-stringed musical instrument. Cf. {Pandore},
   {Banjo}, {Mandolin}.]
   A musical stringed instrument, similar in form to a guitar; a
   pandore. It is now obsolete, but see {bandura}.
