Autocode

   <language> 1. The {assembly language} accepted by {AUTOCODER}.

   2. A generic term for symbolic {assembly language}.  Versions
   of Autocode were developed for {Ferranti} {Atlas}, {Titan},
   {Mercury} and {Pegasus} and {IBM 702} and {IBM 705}.
