Asarabacca \As`a*ra*bac"ca\, n. [L. asarum + bacca a berry. See
   {Asarone}.] (Bot.)
   An acrid herbaceous plant ({Asarum Europ[ae]um}), the leaves
   and roots of which are emetic and cathartic. It is
   principally used in cephalic snuffs.
