AppleTalk Filing Protocol

   <networking> (AFP) A {client/server} {protocol} used in
   {AppleTalk} communications networks.  In order for non-{Apple}
   networks to access data in an {AppleShare} {server}, their
   protocols must translate into the AFP language.
