kuchene, AS. cycene, L. coquina, equiv. to culina a kitchen,
fr. coquinus pertaining to cooking, fr. coquere to cook. See
{Cook} to prepare food, and cf. {Cuisine}.]

restaurant, or other building appropriated to cookery.
